Welcome to the adventure of Scouting with Boy Scout Troop 523. The goals of Scouting are to build young men of character, who are good citizens and are physically and morally fit. It is the sincere wish of all of us in Troop 523 to accomplish these objectives while having FUN!
In the beginning of every meeting (excluding PLC's), we recite the Pledge of Allegiance, The Scout Law, The Scout Oath, and The Outdoor Code. Other useful information to know is the Scout Slogan and Scout Motto.
On my honor, I will do my best To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.
