Our East coast is comprised of a succession of little bays and inlets, fringed with kelp and home to otters, seals, gannets, oystercatchers, and a host of wildlife.
This is backed up by a rockscape of some of the oldest Lewisian gneiss rocks known on planet Earth. That rock, and the peatlands which cover it and the seacape which surrounds it make this a truly marvellous landscape which is captured so beautifully in the various patterns and colours of the famous Harris Tweed .
