Dick Flanagan I have been licensed since the Summer of 1961 when I was issued WV6TEI and I currently hold an Amateur Extra license. I hold a graduate degree in Computer Science and was employed as a software engineer for 40 years. I was also a free-lance Commercial Pilot, Flight Instructor and general airport bum.
During my varied and sometimes chaotic Amateur career I have co-founded and Chaired the Minnesota Repeater Council, Chaired the Southern California Repeater Association and Chaired the ARRL VHF Repeater Advisory Committee. I am also one of the founders of the Carson Valley Radio Club.
I was awarded the ARRL Excellence in Recruiting Award in 2001 and was the ARRL Nevada Section Manager from 2003 to 2008.
