Description: The Systematic Observations Financing Facility (SOFF) aims to bridge the climate and weather data gap in countries with the most severe shortfalls in observations. SOFF provides financial and technical support for generating and sharing basic weather and climate observations, contributing to global resilience. SOFF was created to support the implementation of the Global Basic Observing Network (GBON) commitments, together with the UN Secretary General’s Early Warning for All Initiative launched in 2022.
