KPJAYI Level 2
Born in Malaysia and bred in Singapore, International movie distribution veteran Veronique started practising ashtanga yoga in 2005 while working in Hong Kong. She became a direct student of R. Sharath Jois in 2008 and has since made annual extended trips to study with him at KPJ Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore , India. Veronique is currently learning the advanced series under the guidance of Sharath and is authorized level 2 by KPJAYI to teach Ashtanga in the tradition of his grandfather, Sri K. Pattabhi
Veronique has been teaching a daily morning Mysore program in Osaka since 2013. In order to establish a yoga institute in Osaka dedicated to disseminating the traditional teachings of her teachers’ in a straight forward and simple manner, Veronique founded Ashtanga Yoga Tattva Osaka in 2015, of which she is the current Owner and Managing Director. She teaches in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and basic Japanese.
