FIT is an alternative qualification for students who do not pass A/L qualifications to enroll into the Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) program. It is designed for anyone irrespective of the study streams they have followed in Advanced Level.
BIT is the Bachelor of Information Technology Degree program introduced by the University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC), in 2000. The UCSC conducts examinations leading to the first-ever External Degree in Information Technology (IT) in Sri Lanka. The degree is awarded by the University of Colombo.
