Keeping the block beautiful.
The mission of The West 78th Street Museum Block Association is to preserve and enhance the community and aesthetic character of the block. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we rely on your tax deductible donations to fund our work to actively support, maintain and improve the appearance, safety and well-being of the block's trees, plantings and sidewalks.
We wanted to share an important update about the Gilder Center project. Following a decision by Judge Lynn R. Kotler on Monday, December 10, the Museum will move forward with the Gilder Center project. Judge Kotler dismissed the lawsuit and affirmed that the Museum followed all appropriate procedures in preparation for the Gilder Center project.
