David Walworth, the owner and chief naval architect, has 20+ years of experience in the yacht business. Unlike many designers, he has actually built boats professionally before turning to designing them. This is a valuable advantage, as he understands what information is required by the builders and how to design a boat to be easily built. To gain this experience, after completing the design program at the Landing School of Boatbuilding and Design in 1989, he went to work for Eric Goetz at Goetz Custom Sail
