Tisvildeleje opens onto the broadest stretch of white sandy beaches in Zealand. The beach is a 1.2km (3/4-mile) stretch of white sandy beaches lapped by clean salty waters and fringed by dunes and woodland. The surroundings here are exceptionally clean and unspoiled. Volunteers work to see that this whole area of coastline is the most thoroughly inspected and litter-free in Denmark. The best beach is less than 1.5km (1 mile) west of the center of the resort. It has a changing room and toilets and also a spa
