Water Ski 101 Water skiing was invented in Lake City in 1922 by Ralph Samuelson. 101 years later Lake City celebrates the man and the sport with incredible shows on Saturday and Sunday featuring top regional and national talent, including 82-years-young stilt skier Glen Sperry.
