Description: We the People of Webster, New Hampshire
genealogy (2899) cemeteries (141) and history of webster (1)
Webster was incorporated 4 July 1860 from the lands of western Boscawen. The Webster Historical Society maintains two websites. This website is documenting Webster’s people and their ancestry, and burials in Webster’s cemeteries. The Society’s digital archives at WebsterHistoricalSociety.org maintains thousands of photos, written and oral histories, diaries, vital statistics, town reports, census records, and more. All is free to the public, and no UserID and password is required.
Cemeteries Here are reports for each of Webster's four cemeteries: Corser Hill, Riverdale, Beaver Dam, and Clough-Sanborn Hill. A separate report lists people buried in Webster (per their death record), but the cemetery is yet to be identified. Photos of every gravestone are now being added in the Society's digital archives at WebsterHistoricalSociety.org (click on Webster Digital Archives > Artifacts > Cemeteries).
Historical People The Historical People report lists people of historical significance to Webster. These are authors, craftsmen, inventors, politicians, town employees, teachers, first settlers, ministers, and more. This is continually updated as new data is found.
