Image of the month At our Members' Meeting on 18th May Val Bott gave us her talk titled 'The 1841 Brentford Flood', based on her research for her book of the same title, published in 2002, and available on Amazon. Members who missed out on the meeting can view her talk, for the next month, from the Meetings Playback page.
Tip of the month In this column I have cited a number of articles included in the Family History Federation's Really Useful Bulletin, issued monthly, and of which there have now been 32 issues. There is a lot of useful information contained in these bulletins, and so I have now included the whole set under a new web page accessible under the Research tab.
Our aims The Society aims to encourage and assist those involved in the study of family history and genealogy in the western part of the ancient English county of Middlesex. See also our Objectives page.
