It’s been a bit since I posted but here’s some deliciousness. I’ll post the actual recipes for each soon.
This is about my 6th attempt at elk chili, each time with my own harvested elk from Northwest Colorado. I have to say, this one tops all the rest combined as far as flavor and texture goes. As with most chilis, I experiment with different spices and temperatures each time I cook it and this one just tasted exactly right. The image to the left is about ¾ through cooking, so it is still a little soupy at this point.
