Launched in the fall of 2022, this project intends to connect Canadian gardeners and landscape planners with an authoritative reference guide for native Canadian plant species. Our Nursery is listed on the Network of Nature's interactive map and we are actively engaged in a project that will bring education about mini forests to communities across Canada in 2023.
Sizing Canada’s National Seed Supply Supported by a pro bono grant from Accenture and serving as a research collaborator to the National Tree Seed Centre , Wilder supported the distribution and analysis of a critical survey to help understand Canada’s domestic production supply chain. The NTSC's preliminary report summarizes 115 respondents and interviewees' best practices in seed traceability, as well as their concerns over accessing a sufficient supply, the diversity of native species, and seed sources.
