I realized I haven’t made a post talking about this, so I figured now would be a good time. I was recently approved by the staff and faculty at United Lutheran Seminary to change my degree track from a Master of Divinity to a Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership. What this means is that instead of training to be a Pastor, I am training for the new Deacon roster in the ELCA.
In my ministry as a Deacon, I hope to specialize in faith formation and discipleship with an emphasis on using technology to accomplish this. This is the area that I feel God has prepared me for the most.
