What is humanly? humanly is podcast, video series, and blog that aims to start conversations around masculinity and manhood.
Our view is that the feminist movement, LGBTQIA+, and other social justice movements have started important conversations and made an incredible amount of social progress recently as compared to men. In addition, men are now arguably one of the main factors restraining further progress of these movements. Therefore, we believe for men, other social movements, and society, that a discussion around manhood and masculinity present a huge opportunity for growth.
Our goal is to start a conversation about what it means to be a man in today’s society: to clearly identify the unsaid rules of manhood and start a discussion around why those rules exist and their impact. By examining these questions closely, we hope to open up the possibility for men to more consciously decide who they want to be.
