Mr. Rami Atalla qualified in Egypt in 1987 and trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in large teaching hospitals including Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and Birmingham Maternity Hospital. He was Lecturer at Leicester University before joining East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust as Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in 2012.
He leads our Urogynaecology service and specialises in pelvic floor operations including incontinence, prolapse and vaginal surgeries. He developed and chairs the urogynaecology MDT. He has a long standing interest in helping women who have has repeated miscarriage and has helped many women successfully carry future pregnancies.
