Why buy Dahon bikes from World Wheels: Some of our team have been selling Dahon folding bikes for nearly all of Dahon’s 25 year history, first importing the Dahon M203 in 1984 under the Bickerton Bicycles brand. When we started World Wheels in 1996, Dahon folding bicycles were difficult to find and only stocked by a few dealers, so we set up World Wheels as a direct sales division of the UK importers, Cyclemotion .
In 1998 we were encouraged by Dahon to make the Dahon folding bikes range available to customers in UK and Europe, where and when local supply was patchy. We are one of Dahon’s few approved internet resellers. Since 1998, we estimate that World Wheels has sold over 2500 Dahon bikes direct to customers ….so we should know how to do it by now!
