WorldTV ran from 2007 to 2018 and was an innovative web application allowing anyone to create their own linear TV channel.

Hundreds of thousands of channel creators in almost every country in the world created their own TV channels with WorldTV. Following YouTube deprecating their API, which most of our users had built channels around, and Google and Apple effectively killing Flash, which our Editor interface had been coded in, we were forced to sunset the service.

We started WorldTV in 2007 with a mission to create a new way of sharing videos in the form of a personal TV channel. Times have moved on, but we’re proud of what we built, and hope you enjoyed using it as long as it lasted.
