About Who we are Established in 1972, the Friends Foundation of Worthington Libraries is the oldest library support group in Franklin County, Ohio. Governed by an independent board of directors that serves hundreds of members, the Friends Foundation provides financial support and advocacy to increase use and awareness of our award-winning library system.

The Friends Foundation is dedicated to strengthening the ties between our library and community and to advancing the library’s mission as a center for lifelong learning, information, culture and engagement.
The Friends supports the library through programming support, fundraising and advocacy.
