X One Designs have been racing at the Royal Solent Yacht Club since 1946 and is the largest fleet in the Club. Regular racing takes place from late April until early October on Wednesday evenings, Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings. The race programme at Yarmouth offers 60 races of around two hours duration using the many laid marks in the Western Solent.
The Club's racing calendar also has events open to all XOD Divisions which include the Royal Solent Taittinger Regatta and the Sunset Series (sailed Monday to Thursday evenings). The Club lays moorings for XOD Division members which are easily accessible using the RSYC launch service.
