An enthusiastic crowd of residents and staff from Yarram and District Health Service were joined by community members to celebrate and acknowledge NAIDOC Week.
The Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony outside the main entrance were followed by a delicious lunch of barbecue kangaroo and emu sausages with wattle seed coleslaw and damper.
Our two residential aged care facilities, St Elmo’s Nursing Home and Crossley House Hostel , offer a wide range of services and activities, including carer respite, for residents requiring varying levels of care. Dedicated YDHS staff provide an atmosphere of dignity and respect where the needs of our residents are paramount.
