Zia ACO LLC was formed in 2019 as a CMS-certified Medicare Shared Savings Program Accountable Care Organization (MSSP ACO) and currently includes 8 independent primary care practices within New Mexico.
Zia ACO was established for the sole and express purpose of building a community of clinicians whose focus is on value-based contracts and the underpinnings that drive success in those programs (i.e. patient satisfaction, care coordination, utilization management, etc.).
An Accountable Care Organization (ACO), Zia is a network of doctors and hospitals who agree to work together with Medicare and shares responsibility for delivering high-quality, coordinated care to patients.
